Matt Presents at MAAO Winter/Spring Confrence
mjt / 0 Comments /On Thursday, March 28, 2019, Matt and Mattapoisett Principal Assessor Kathleen Costello presented “Solar, Solar, Solar – Just Give Me the Warm Power of the Sun” to members of the Massachusetts Association of Assessing Officers at their Winter/Spring Conference at the Boxboro Regency. During the presentation, Matt & Kathy reviewed the progression of Massachusetts Solar Power Subsidy Programs, the various methods of valuation for the solar arrays and the property on which they are developed, the negotiation, execution and collection of Solar Payment In Lieu of Tax (PILOT) Agreements, and portions of the Commonwealth’s new SMART Program.
