Although Veterans Day was originally conceived as an opportunity to remember the Armistice that ended World War I at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, it has become an opportunity to remember and honor the sacrifice of all Veterans who have served our country. We honor their patriotism, love of country and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good.
